False Advertising

On Thursday 7 February 2013 I saw an advertisement on television advertising Pampers nappies for R149 a big bag and the advertisement said until Sunday. On Friday 8 February 2013 my sister-in-law went to Checkers on Atlas road in the East Rand and bought No.2 pampers nappies there for R149. On Saturday 9 February 2013 my husband went to Checkers in Noordheuwel and when he got to the till they informed him that the special was over. I then told them that the advertisement said "ends this Sunday, and today is only Saturday. Then they told my husband that the sale was not applicable to the No.4 nappies, only the no.5 nappies were o n special??? So is this false advertising or can any Checkers manager decide when the specials are applicable and when not?
