I was retrenched on the 31 October 2011. I then went into a foshini store a week later to produce my documentation so that my account would be closed as I was under the impression that I had account protection. When I spoke to the contact center they advised me that no claim was done but the sales assistant that helped me in store gave me proof that the documention was sent to the head office. I was then passed from agent to agent and they also had attitude problems. I then had to provide the documentation again. Finally after 2months I was contacted only to be advised that only 3 months would be covered and the account protection plan that I was paying was suppose to cover the full amount. The account has now been passed over to lawyers and I have been black listed. I feel that I do not owe this money as I was paying account protection since I opened the account.
