Appalling service, spoilt food

On Saturday 1 Feb I went and bought some groceries as I usually do. When I was about to eat the peaches on Sunday, I noticed that a few of them were spoilt and immediately went to the store. Upon getting there, I had to wait for close to 10 mins for the returns and exchanges person to get back to their station. The staff there simply said I should just look for something else as there were no more peaches left for me to exchange. Mind you they just acted normally as if this is a regular occurrence. I was a bit astonished. When she did come back and saw my item on the counter, she heard her name being called on the intercom and instead of helping me she started walking towards where ever she was called to and had to be called back by another person to assist me.
Getting to today, I opened marinated chicken i bought and put in the oven, only to get the most vile stench ever (sell by date is 03-02), I was furious and took this item back. I asked for a manager and was directed to a man in black pants & shirt. He simply asked if i wanted something else and when i said no he just took me to the counter.
This is supposed to be one of the better retail stores, really unfortunate.
