Edgars REFUSES to HELP me open an account

I went to open an account at Edgars. At the time I couldn't give a work number since I do not have a personal telephone at my office. I received a call from their call centre explaining that without a proof of employment they could not activate my account. I phoned back giving the number for our HR employee and they confirmed that once they got what they needed I would receive an SMS saying that my account had been established.

3 WEEKS WENT BY AND NOTHING! I got no feedback and no information with regard to where I stood.

I called back AGAIN explaining the whole situation and this Call Centre girl, Lebo, offered to phone me back so I didn't have to wait for their system to load. Why their system wasn't already open and functioning is totally beyond me! What kind of Call Centre isn't IMMEDIATELY prepared for a query from a client??? ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

Needless to say, THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO ME!!! DO THEY SIMPLY NOT WANT MY BUSINESS AT ALL THAT THEY ARE NEGLECTING MY REQUESTS???

The sad thing is, that this is not the first time where I have been GROSSLY mistreated at Edgars and I just have to wonder why they want to treat there customers so poorly. It's just disgusting.
