Cant get an acount sorted out

My account was paid on the 12th of august 2013, the amount being R1000, however since then I have received numerous calls and messages stating that my account is in arrears. I have called the following numbers 0865220999, 0114956000, 0800203925, 0114947580, 0860102474, 0114989411 but could not get the problem rectified even though I stated the transaction number on the slip. I then even went as far as going into the Edgars branch at festival mall (where the account was paid) with the till slip and bank statement as proof of payment. All they could do was try to call the help desk only to find out that they too could not be helped as there was no answer for 30 minutes. I am now 30 weeks pregnant and this is really becoming a real burden driving to edgars and back to try rectify a fault that is not my mistake. The phone calls alone are costing a fortune nevermind the inconvenience of standing in a retail outlet for hours and still not being able to remedy this matter. To make matters even worse, after all of this, I just received another text message stating that my arrears account is going to reflect negatively on my credit rating. Could somebody please advise me on how to sort out this situation?
