False advertising. saleslady no idea of products

I bought 2 Ankara couches with slipcovers on the 6 August 2013. I asked the saleslady MA Makoena if I can
take the covers of and was it in cold water. She said yes it is washable. The advertisement says slipcovers cleanable.

There is nowhere in the advertisement that you must Dry clean only. So in December I took it off and the
covers shrinked. I Phoned House and Home and left my complain at Henriette she phoned me and said
that the covers may only be dry cleaned according to the Supplier and she will found out from the suppliers
after that I still haven't heard from her and my couches are still a mess. I feel that they have to replace my
slipcovers and in the future make sure that customers know even if the slipcovers is removable and
cleanable it can only be dry cleaned.

If I was told the truth I would never have washed the slipcovers in the machine and on second thought not
have bought it at
house and home but rather went to another shop that advertise covers that is washable. So I am very
unsatisfied and if it is still under guarantee I want either new slipcovers or my money back.
