I was shopping for some items that came to R230.00 & at the check point the assistant helping me processed a refund instead of a sale. First thing she did was tell me that she needs to debit dbl the amount R460.00 to correct her mistake with an attitude. When I refused & gave the suggestion they call their bank & cancel the transaction instead of me shelling out more money as the refund was not reflecting as yet, she saw it best to call her loud-mouthed, rude, straat-mate-attitude, ignorant manager Gantelle who hurled all kinds of insults. She insited that they have to debit me twice and they will not be calling the bank as all that is going out of their way &that this has happened before with other customers & its an easy fix. The more I tried to explain that if they simply call their bank & cancel that transaction & that i was not going to let them debit more money, the more she shouted & put on a show for other customers in the shop. She saw me as being rude for not doing what she wanted. After much chanting she eventually called their bank who advised the refund would be cancelled in 24hrs. EASY! I contacted regional manager Peter Bosman to complain, Still awaiting response!
