Edgars send me sms that mislead me

I received a sms that I can get R5OO discount on regular price items if I buy over R2500 or more. The code for the promotion was 1196263968 On thursday (19 Dec) I went to the store in joburg Edgars City. I wanted to buy chlothes as well as sunglusses. After spending nearly 3 hours in the store the guy at the sunglass counter couldnt assist me with the promotion and called a manager by the name of Adrianno or something. He asked if I can come in the morning to do the transaction. I told him that I couldnt because I'm leaving joburg the next day. He then told me that the peopl at the counter can't assist me as they are still new I then asked for a supervisor. Then the story was changing I was then told that I can't buy clothes and sunglasses with the promotion code. My corncern is that Ive spend nearly 3 hours in your store as it was messy and in the end I wasnt assisted acordingly. The sms didnt state chlothes or sunglasses it stated items and items is anything in the store. I was told that the marketing team will look into the matter by a consultant. EDGARS MISLEADED ME WITH THEY SMS AND DID NOT GIVING ME THE R500 DISCOUNT ON THE SUNGLASSES WHICH IS AN ITEM ACCORDING TO THE SMS!!!
