Prices of e-books compared to prices of hard copy

I have signed up with Kalahari to order e-books as they are supposed to be the cheaper option. I have found a few times that some e-books are more expensive than the hard copy which is not acceotable for me. I wanted to order the e-book Cross my heart by James Patterson. The Price of the e-book is R291.20 while the price of the hard copy is R243.25. Seems like I will have to shop some where else for some e-books
