Milk sour 4 days before time

I called and had to listen to that stupid happy cow song twice and no one picks up! It would've went on the 3rd time but I put down! Why must you hold so long?? I bought a 3 litre can of milk which is supposed to expire on 3rd Jan but it's already sour today!!
