Old chicken sold on a promotion

Unfortunately, what started as a win turned out to be just another way of screwing the customer!

I arrived at Spar at 9:30 this morning to find a special on the cooked chicken - if you bought one chicken, you got 4 rolls, a packet of chips and a 2l Coke, all for R39.99!

Sounds great, right? Not so. Upon actually opening the sealed bag that it came in (at around 13:00 on the same day), a fly buzzes out and we find eggs on the chicken!!

Now that is not the condition I expect to find my chicken in! This just proves that the whole promotion was just a way of getting rid of old chickens as soon as possible. I'm disgusted, I can't trust anything supposedly "fresh" from this store again!
