Different Price???

I was at the menlyn mall CNA earlier this morning. I was looking at the celphones. I enquired as to the price of a celphone that was on the display cabinet. No information was present on the display cabinet. Rose informed me that it was 1999. I stated I would come back later then.

Later in the day, i drove back to the mall. Mr Francis Abotsi then assisted me. He also confirmed that the phone cost r1999. I stated I would take it and he proceeded to call someone to get it for me. Upon proceeding to the cashiers, I filled in a form. I was then informed that the price was 2999 if my memory serves me correctly. I just know it was not the price as was promised me.

I then called the store manager, Imran Shaik. He first stated there was nothing he could do. upon then requesting the regional manager or head office, he said he would see what he could do. After some time, her returned and stated he could only offer me a 10% discount on the phone. I stated this was unacceptable.

Prices were not displayed in store, and I was informed incorrectly by 2 staff members. And now that information given to me is incorrect and I have to suffer. This is unacceptable!!!
