HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY ANDRE THE MANAGER

I went to Checkers Glen Marais after seeing an advert for an Addis Flip Top Bin 46L @R69.99 on the 03/09/2013. I was informed that the product has been delivered without the lids - therefore they cannot sell. I was given an Out of Stock Voucher. I kept on following up without anyone calling from the store more than 5 times at the end I was told that any store will assist me upon presentation of the voucher. On Sunday 1Dec I went to Festival Mall and I was turned away by Ishmael as their bins were more than R200 and they were not prepared to incur such a substantial loss. I then went back to Glen Marais and I relayed my story to Andre - the Manager. He just starred at me relaying my story and made it clear that he cannot assist and that I should carry on popping into the store until the bin is delivered even if it takes the whole year as the voucher doesn't expire. This guy spoke to me with such a terrible and cold attitude. His body language made it clear that he wasn't interested in my story. He dismissed me like I was not even a customer. U MAY NOT BE AFFECTED BY LOOSING 1 CUSTOMER BUT I THANK U CHECKERS FOR ASSISTING ME IN MAKING BETTER SHOPPING CHOICES IN FUTURE!
