My money not welcome at Clicks

On Saturday 30 Nov i bought my toiletries from Clicks. A young black man was standing in front of me, buying only a monster drink to the value of R18-95. The cashier, Sam, greeted the client friendly, asked him he was doing and helped him with the purchase of the drink. I bought toiletries to the value of R483 and Sam didnt greet me, didnt ask me how I was doing. In fact, he said 3 words to me and they were: bags? Cheque or savings? And that was it? So I would like to know why i was treated differently to the person in front of me??? Am I too white, or what is the problem? I can take my white money somewhere else, because my money is clearly not good enough for Sam.
