Clicks brand face wax burns my face, no response

On Tuesday 26 November I bought the Clicks brand face wax. I tested it on a small piece of my lip to ensure that I am no allergic and that it does not cause a reaction. I was fine after 24hours and on 27 November1 proceeded to wax my entire upper lip, chin and brow area. My upper lip started buring very badly, so I then applied the after treatment that is included in the pack. My lip burned perfucely, so I then ran cold water over it for a while. My entire lip was red and very sore. Today, 28 November, I have a big brown scab on the right side of my lip. I went to the Clicks where I bought the product. The manager simply said I should have used a different brand and refunded me for the product. No concern for the way my face looks or my health!
