In a time when bad service has become the normality and people have very little compassion towards someone who has been robbed, it helps to know that there are still some good people who are willing to go the extra mile to assist you. After I noticed that my handbag had been yesterday, 17/11/2013, I was not sure if it had happened in Woolworths or in another retailer's store. We contacted the first available manager we could find, LISA, who truly went out of her way to help me. She immediately asked me if I had any bank cards in my bag and made a call to the bank so that I could cancel my card. She informed the store security and requested that they review the cctv footage and accompanied me to where we were standing in the store when i noticed that my bag was gone. She also gave me her personal mobile phone to use to contact the other bank so that I could cancel that card. After we left the store, Lisa contacted us to give us feedback on the footage. My handbag had not been in Woolies. The level of compassion, friendliness and general concern that I received from her was outstanding and well worth complimenting on. WELL DONE!
