My husband and I purchased a Sony 7.2 home theatre system from Dion Wired in Jan 2012, that of which we are still paying for. For some reason the sub woofers now are not working now. I called the store to find out what the warranty and guarantee period on the set was. I was put through to 5 different people and none of them could finish this information. We decided to call at the store personally, which we did and were told that the gurantee and warrantee is for 1 year and were told to bring in the sub woofers and sub amp. During that conversation, at no time was it mentioned to us that we had to pay for the repairs. Upon bringing the subs in, the consultant says that we have to pay.
1) Why do we have to pay when we are still paying Dion Wired for the set?
2) Why are the sales reps not able to advise on guarantee & warrantee period?
3) Why did I have to go through to 5 people of which none could help?
4) I have mailed Dion Wired 2 weeks ago and have not yet received any response on this matter?
This whole situation is very frustrating and I will really appreciate some answers to my questions.
