Bought a Sansui Lifepad from Hi-Fi Corp Vaal Mall. We've had it for about 4 months. It's always kept in it's pouch when not used. I took it out of the pouch and put it on charge. When I took it off charge and switched in on I noticed that the screen is cracked. The lifepad switched on and is still working, however the screen is cracked. There's no chips on the screen or you can't feel the cracks on the outside of the screen. Its on the inside. The service department said that they will send the lifepad in for repairs, which they didn't do, they only send a mail. I took it in on the 18th of October and didn't get any feedback. Phoned them today and they say that the supplier will not fix it as it is customer negligence and un-economical to repair, I must buy a new one. I even bought an extended warranty from Hi-Fi Corp. Now I've got more than two and a half years guarantee left, but they don't want to fix it. I did some research on hello peter, google etc. and found a lot more complaints of cracked screens of these sansui tablets, that weren't dropped etc. Seems to be a recurring thing. This is not acceptable
