7 weeks wait for new bed

I bought a new Serta bed from on September 10th and only received it finally after countless phone calls from myself to the store on October 26th. I found that nobody could really tell me the reason for the delay or the expected date of delivery. Almost every time I phoned a different person tried to help me and I received the same answer each time: "It is still coming, we will phone you back with more info". They rarely phoned me back. After 3 weeks I was phoned twice and told that the bed is at the store, just to find out that it was not my bed.
I found the staff to be uninformed and confused and really unhelpful. I even spoke to people at manager level and got the same result. Not even an apology or the slightest indication that they are trying to solve the issue. And I even paid the full amount when placing the order. To wait 7 weeks for a bed is pathetic service, and their slogan of "buy today and sleep tonight" is hilarious and totally misleading and false.
Needless to say, I will NEVER buy anything from House&Home again, and I will certainly advise all my family and friends to do the same
