False advertising - Dispatch date

I am generally not one to complain. I do however feel that consumers should be aware of the false advertising that I have fallen victim to. I have placed an order for a Dell Vostro Laptop and Aligator Laptop backpack (Both advertised to be dispatched within 1 day) on the 23rd October at 08h50am. I had been notified that delivery is expected on the 28th October, which I could understand. It then took a further 3 days to verify my payment which left my account immediately when paying by Cheque card. The parcel was then only dispatched 5 days later. Needless to say, I have not yet received my package, and delivery is expected on 31 October. Should I not receive the package today, I will have to consider taking further action.
