I was shopping for a couple of new tops at Edgars on Sunday 27 Oct 2013; happy with my purchase, I went home only to find the security tag was not removed from the one top. Realising that I would have to go back to the store to remove it, made me very upset; not only is it an unnecessary trip, but I was afraid of being treated like a. So I went back to the store the next day to get the tag removed, armed and ready for a fight.
But, to my surprise, no questions asked, no funny looks. A lady behind the counter removed it only to find that the tag damaged the garment, so she referred me to Sifiso (the tom tailor brand expert); he found a replacement only to find that one was also damaged due to bad tagging, went into the store room to find me a tshirt that was still un-tagged. Legend! Thankful for his help, I couldn't help but ask if Edgars could validate my parking ticket since the only reason I came back was to get the tag taken off. He had a quick chat with his store manager and they gave me the parking fee in cash. How sweet! Wish customer service was like this everywhere!
