I recently received my Edgars statement for October. I discovered that I have been billed for 2 services that was NOT requested - a MTN airtime subscription fee of R36.00 and OTA prepaid voucher registration of R39.00. I went into the Adderley Street branch in Cape Town to query this, I was assisted by Xolelwa who phoned the OTA dept (if that is correct) to cancel the service. This was done however I asked for a refund on my account, I reiterate that this was NOT requested nor was I informed of it prior to it being added. I spent my lunch hour with Xolelwa holding on for RMCS, after that I could not wait any longer and was given the number. This morning (24/10/13) I called the number given (0861332244), apparently this is the number for Maravedi Financial Solutions. I called numerous times only to be told the number is only operational between 8am - 5pm, I AM CALLING BETWEEN OFFICE HOURS!!! I cannot get through, I dont see why I should spend more time to get this resolved and want swift action to be taken. I am not one to complain about service but this leaves one with a bitter taste. I expect a favourable response...
