Staff not observant

I had a technical problem with a phone which I bought from foschini store @ Protea Glen store, had to take it back the lady who helped me took that broken phone she removed stater pack and a battrey forgot to remove memory card, was given new phone not that I'm complaining but my memory card is gone with my importand information in it, my concern is what if it ends up in wrong hands
