Lack of service/ refusal to sell a cellphone

Kindly note i went into Truworths at Gateway, Umhlanga. I requested to purchase a cellphone. I was approached by the sale assistant, i advised him the phone that i was interested in. I provided him with proof of my address and ID as per the Rica regulations and my account card. He advised me that i am not allowed to purchase a cell phone, when i asked why, he says that i have not utilised my account in the last 6 months. I said this is nonsense as the account was paid up and last purchased about 2 weeks ago and i have good credit. I requested for a manager, he stated that not even the manager can assist or their Headoffice?? I was advised that i could buy any other item except a cellphone. I have never heard of such a thing, Because i was in a hurry i ended up by buying a cellphone at Foschini, with no hassels.
