Incompetend staff in Refund Department

I had a russels account that I paid off, I never noticed that it is settled and was only informed of such when wanting a settlement amount. I went to my branch in Primrose to request a refund of the credit on my account, I was very satisfied with the service at my branch.
The problem comes in by the refunding of my money, I waited my 7 days that it takes for a refund to take places but very disappointed that I am still waiting for my money. I phoned refund department yesterday according to them they did not receive the documents but they were phoned more than once and confirmed that they did receive the documents and my branch is sitting with the proof that it was sent.
I am very disappointed in the way in which some of the customer care staff treats clients as if I owe them money but it is the other way around.
I was told to wait another 7 days . but I feel this is unfair as I waited my 7 days and I would not leave it here. I will go out of my way to teach them a lesson about how to treat clients.
