Bad ground management

On Saturday afternoon I went to Pick and Pay hypermarket at Ottery. It is a construction site! I sow a open parking and pulled into it.
On entering it I heard a knock and it was as if i was driving through a hole I did not see. On inspection, I sow that there was a drain with no cover on that I had driven through.
All was still fine, but on my way home i felt something was not right and pulled to the side of the road to inspect, when I saw that my tire was almost completely flat. I then noticed that the impact with the drain had cut the side wall of my tire. This can not be repaired. These tires were still almost new as I bought them to the end of 2012. I payed R655, 00 each!
I put the spare on and went back to the hyper to go see the manager. Only the store manager was available as it was weekend. I explained the story to him and he said that the ground manager will contact me on Monday. He advised me not to do anything with the tire. On Monday the 30th of September the manager called me, and I explained to him what happened. He told me that there is nothing he can do! He would give my number to the complaint department. I am still waiting. Is this how you treat loyal customers?
