Guess handbag falls to pieces after 5 months

I love Guess handbags and every few months my parents buy me a new one from the latest range. Till now I have been very happy with the quality. For my 21 st birthday in May I received a black Guess handbag with what looks like pleather folds on it. Yesterday I picked up the bag and noticed the pleather peeling off. I then looked closely and realized that about 30% of the bag is peeling and breaking off. I barely use this handbag as it is a bit bigger than the rest, so this is not general wear and tear. I am so disappointed! My favorite brand has really let me down. Not sure if I am still a fan.
