Does pep really have no change? like really now?

I visited PEP stores in Govan Mbeki Avenue (the one next to PC Training) to purchase R5 Cell C with a R50 note, to my surprise, Ntuthu, the cashier who was assisting me said she doesn't have change, what is that now, so I asked her if is she not gonna process my transaction then she had the nerve to ask: ufuna ndikunike ii R1 nee R2? ( Do you want me to give you 1 rands and 2 rands?) wearing a cheeky face. I regard PEP stores as a big company which should surely have R50 change stucked somewhere in the store, you can't be seriously telling me that each and every customer who went there this morning with a R50 note asking for R5 air time was chased away? Do you promote this in all your stores? Very very surprising, trust me!
