Lost a sale of a coffee machine

Walking into Hirch's was a nightmare. There are a million staff, but they seem to stand around and do nothing. I am in the market for a coffee machine and was milling around the display models when I spotted a used coffee pod lying in a half open drawer. I picked it up to smell it and then put it back and closed the drawer. A lady walked up to us at that moment and in a monotone, disinterested voice said, "Can I help? ". I immediately said "No thanks, was just smelling the coffee" and smile. She made no attempt to smile back and then turned around and left... Ended up buying the same coffee machine I'd seen in that store for R300 less on the internet...
