Wrong info was given to me, they misled me

I both a Samsung top loader washing machine at House & Home Kolonade branch in Pretoria in June this year.
I am pregnant and going on maternity leave from the and of September and wont be getting a salary for 4 months, The guy who helped me is Thomas he told me about the insurance I can take out so when i go on leave i just need to bring my docter's letter and a letter from my work saying that i wont get a salary for the next 4 months, and that the insurance will pay the account off, I took out the insurance because i knew i wont be able to pay the account when i go on leave now that i want to make final arrangements regarding the payment the insurence need to settle they tell me they dont cover maternity leave. no were in the contract does it say it does not pay for maternity leave. Thomas told me that i can take out this insurance and they will settle the account, Karen the manager told me that they don't cover maternity leave, and that i need to make a arrangement with rainbow regarding the payment because they cant help me. i
