On the 20th August Shereen F confirmed Edgars Club had agreed to pay out my Gran's funeral plan after much back and forth. I was ready to write a thank you on this site. 20 days later I have heard NOTHING. I discovered through my own investigation that Edgars Claremont had not filed notice of death and payment protection plan that I completed on 27 July. After a visit to the branch and 4 phone calls to Joburg, they finally confirmed the account was properly closed. There is no reason not to now process my Gran's funeral policy payout. I have sent numerous emails, left messages with staff, left voicemails on Shereen's landline and I have heard absolutely nothing. Shereen - you have been very helpful but I am now at my wits end that you haven't bothered to come back to me for 3 WEEKS.
