MBD legal collections

Was contacted by MBD legal collections who told me that I owe Miladys money since 1991 of R250.
Was never contacted by Miladys, opened an account with Miladys in Nov 2012 which is paid up, received voucher from Miladys for being a good customer. When asked MBD for prove of this account nothing received, gave cell no, email etc nothing. I'm fed up as was told I will be blacklisted. When I phoned Miladys on sat 7 sept 2013 to ask about this was told nothing to do with them as my file had been sold to MBD legal collections.
File sold on 7 Nov 2012, why was I never told by Miladys when I opened my account, feel done in and who keeps receipts of 22 yrs ago to show that account was paid up. No one willing to say what was amount outstanding then Avsnee would not tell me not interested.
