On 27 May 2013, we bought a Ninendo DS Lite (Black) from Incredible Connection, Goldfields Mall for R999.95.

On 25 August 2013, we went to a Nature Reserve in the Free State, and as always, the kids would play on the DS's while we were driving. The DS was still working when we left and on our way to the nature reserve, (after about 40 minutes of playing) my child told us that his DS died and would not not come on. My wife tried switching it on, the lights flickered and it just died again. We tried it a few times and it did the same. Tried charging it - nothing. Note that at that time all liquids were still in the boot of the vehicle in a cooler box.

We took the DS in to Welkom Inredible Connection (as it was still under guarantee??) on 26 August 2013. They took it in and said that they will send it in to have it checked out.

This morning we received a call and we were informed that the DS had "LIQUID DAMAGE" and it would be R1500?? to repair it. Now hang on, tell me that the thing got a bump (because it is children playing with it) or anything else similar and I would probably have believed it, but "LIQUID DAMAGE"? - No ways.

I really feel cheated and will pursue the matter.
