Incredible Connection
NEVER open an Incredible Connection account!

A few years ago I opened an account with Incredible Connection, which I maxed and paid up a number of times, effectively spending many thousands on the account. One day I walked in and paid up the account, made sure I owed nothing further and left happy. About a year later I tried to apply for credit to purchase a new mobile phone to have it rejected due to a bad credit profile. On investigating it turned out that there was R26 outstanding on the account which was unpaid and IC had since destroyed my credit profile as a result!
Note: AT NO POINT IN THIS TIME DID I RECEIVE AN EMAIL, SMS, PHONE CALL OR SNAIL MAIL LETTER TO INFORM ME OF THIS!!!
Sorting out the matter has since proved fruitless other than having the account closed by a dismissive call centre agent.
I'm still struggling to get any sort of credit because of that R26, 56.
The treatment by this company has been disgusting, especially since I brought this issue to light. Shocking thanks for all the business I gave them.
A simple apology and actually SORTING OUT the -up would have sufficed, but NOTHING has been forthcoming!
