I've been struggling with Furniture City for approxiamtely 3 months. Firstly the "foot board" of our polo base set fell apart. Secondly the stitching on our leather lounge suite is coming loose.

After several months of lodging complainst and trying to enforce our warranties on thee products, the only feedback received from Furniture City is: "we will phone you back in 30min"

We have had promises that both items woulod be replaced, not repaired, but nothing has come from these empty promises.

Furniture City has left us with no alternative other than to proceed with legal action to recover the R30k spent on defective, sub-standard furniture. We are also considering approaching the Consumer Protection Commission regarding Furniture City's absolute disregard of the principles provided for in the Consumer Protection Act.
