Staff who do not appreciate their jobs

We visited for the first time, the Melrose Arch Edgars, as we have heard much ado about the store. However, it was a sad and dismal experience, as the staff at this store clearly do not value the fact that they even have jobs.
Firstly, there was no-one on the floor to help us when we needed assistance in the men's shoe section. Then when we got to the till to query the red carpet discount, the teller shoved the voucher book at my husband and walked away. When he did get back (still no greeting or acknowledgement of us) he started ringing up our items whilst having a conversation with another staff member who was standing across the store! We had to remind him twice that we were going to use the vouchers, and when we queried why we were paying seperatley for our sale items, he brushed us off with a very annoyed response saying it was on sale.
I am very disappointed at this terrible treatment of old customers... and will not be visiting that store again.
