Poor service

This is very scary a hair raising story... I had a Edgars account plus minus 10 to 15 years ago i was one of their best payers... My account was closed when they closed their store in my town... I bought a computer 2 years ago all of a sudden i started receiving sms'e on my computer from their legal dept that my account is in arrears even treatening to black list me... I reported this to Edgars Acrive Beaufort West..Their helpful staff made numerous calls to the lawyers in question who confirmed this was a mistake its not my account yet the sms'e are still send to my computer..My question how did they obtain my sim card no and from who i was under the impression my sim card was Ricad how secure is my personal information if a firm like Edgars can obtain my information without consulting me...
