RIDICULOUS

Visired my local GAME store yesterday interested in a Gravity Wonderladder. They are priced at R200 higher than their competition.
They had one ladder, unwrapped and obviously used somewhere in the shop as you could see that the ladder was preassembled and was in a used condition, but yet still on display priced at R999.

I approached a manager in this regard and explained to him that Builders Warehouse are selling these for R795 and Makro for R799.

The mangager confirmed my statement by contacting the respective retailers, but did not want to match on price as the competative retailers was out of stock.

I would have bought the pre assembled semi used ladder for R799, but GAME was more interested on biting me out on the grounds of their competative stock levels.

One sale lost. Will wait for your COMPETITORS to receive stock then or buy a ladder from SA Ladder themselves who is also cheaper than you. Just shows the public the amount of mark up on a product is ridiculously high.
