Talking to the cutomer does not exist

I purchased some new towels, bath mats and curtains for our home this morning to the value of R1680. When I got to the till the lady greeted me so I thought brilliant... Well that is where it ended. She did not say another word to me. She did not tell me what the total was and when I asked her she pointed to the screen on the desk and said it is there you can read it - nice! She just pushed the credit card machine towards me not saying a word like "please enter your pin" and the same with the signing of the slip. She did not even ask me to keep my slip out for the guy at the security desk at the door so I had to fiddle in my handbag to find it, not that he asked for it he just sat there and put his hand out. I assumed he was looking for the proof of purchase. I am sick to death of being treated like this with pure insolence but there seems to be no recourse because no matter how much customers spend in their store they still get paid at the end of each month. Shocking to think that the world we live in now has no simple courtesy!
