HD PVR INCLUDING INSTALLATION VOUCHER

Two weeks ago I went to Makro Woodmead to purchase an HD PVR. We have a standard PVR with 'dual view' which worked perfectly but we wanted to upgrade to HD. The gentleman selling the BLINGSTALLATION vouchers was very helpful BUT despite me explaining EXACTLY what we already had, he said all I would have to do - above the 'plus installation voucher' - would be to purchase a 'connection plug' goodie at R350 and I would need to keep my old PVR in order to service the TV in my bedroom. We discussed the distance from the existing PVR etc. I asked over and over again if it would cost more than the 'special advertised voucher' and all he kept saying was the R350 for the 'plug'. I have to say that BLINGSTALLATION was fantastic at the first call but then the wheels fell off. I had to spend an extra R870 on their first visit and was told that they couldn't get the TV in the bedroom to work because there was a fault with one of the decoders. So we unplugged everything and went to DSTV who tested both machines - they were perfect. Today, 10 days later (!), I had to pay another R650 to get the TV in my bedroom to work again which was working perfectly before! BEWARE OF BLINGSTALLATION!
