I don't often go to FOOD LOVERS MARKET as it's not situated in a area which I frequent.

I have often heard of people referring to it as "VROT" (meaning rotten in Afrikaans) LOVERS MARKET but did not make anything of it until yesterday.

Amongst my purchases were Pork Chops and Snow Peas (Snapper Peas). When I opened the Pork Chops last evening to start supper, the smell was unbearable, the bottom of the chops were turning green. They were completely off, not edible at all.

I then decided to make a quick stirr fry with some beef and low and behold when I opened the packet of snow peas, the top one's were beautiful and green, but the bottom ones were brown and mouldy.

Another thing I noticed in the shop was the strong smell of fish hanging in the air. Maybe the Manager needs to take note that FRESH fish does not smell so strong that you can smell it a mile away. I will surely never buy any "fresh" fish from FLM.

It's a beautiful shop but the quality of the products leaves a lot to be desired, they will not see me soon again, and thinking back of all the negative comments I've heard about FLM in the past, half of Rustenburg seems to feel the same.
