Card blocked after trying to return goods

On Sunday 18th August 2013, I went to Edgars paarl mall to look for a bigger size in a shoe that I've baught the previous day at the Edgars LadyGrey paarl branch. I was sent away because the shoe was apparently worn, and was told to go to the branch where I've purchased it. On arriving at the branch, the lady at the counter informed me that my card was blocked and that I couldn't return the shoes before I've shown my I'd to receive a new card. I just want clarity on why my card was blocked and why I was sent from one place to another! I am still very at how Edgars has treated me! Miss MC Hendricks
