This complaint is not about the Eastgate store. It is aimed at the marketing department of the corporate. The last two adverts have had cheese for R49.99/kg (my previous complaint) The current advert also has cheese for R49.99 but for 750g (in small print), making the kg price R66.65. This is misleading the consumer. As a Consumer Studies teacher, I will be using this advert to illustrate to my pupils how retailers consumers and how important it is for consumers to compare unit prices.
