Fashion Express
50% marked off items

On the 28th of August, i went to Fashion Express Jabulani Mall where they had items that were marked 50% off. I took two jackets in that section only to find that at the till they scan R150 and the original price was R200. The cashier told me that these items were not meant to be in that 50% off marked zone as they had already lowered the price from R200 to R150 (the items had a red tag for R150). The manager or supervisor was called she told me that there is nothing that they can do because these items were not supposed to be in that mark down zone. I decided to leave them but that was totally unfair and I feel that they have advertised the items incorrectly to the customers and as a matter of fact contravening the National Consumer Act. They knew very well that those items should have been offered with the advertised price. I was so disappointed, even now.
