Proof of identification

Today, I found that my card is gone as I was shopping at mr price. I asked for a new card at the till and they asked for proof of identification. When I presented my drivers license, they said it is not valid and I will have to come back with my green ID book.

What nonsense is that? I went to gov.za which early states a drivers license is valid proof of identification. So what is their problem?? Completely useless and pathetic!

Ons of these days we'll have to get a ID specifically for mr price. Come on!!!???
