Shocking service at Woolworths Cafe

On Saturday 29/06/13 we had lunch at the woolworths cafe Clearwater Mall. There were quite a few open tables, as we sat, menus were thrown on the table with no communication. After 15 minutes we still had no waiter/ess to take our order, so we sit and wait and wait patiently. Eventually a guy by the name of Jesse comes to our table, clearly unaware of our long wait. Extremely bad attitude, he abruptly asks what we want.

We gave our order, 10 minutes later our simple fruit juices arrive. An order which could have arrived much sooner. Once our food arrived, our glasses were already dry which gives you an indication of how long we waited once again. Upon placing the food on our table, there is no communication from Jesse whatsoever. No eye contact, no sense of urgency, no people skills, no apology for the long wait, basically a guy who seems to be mute. I had to ask for everything, which seems too much for him and at this stage I noticed he had removed his name badge as though he could sense there would be a complaint to follow.

A lovely waiter named Russell collected waste from our table with a warm smile. Jesse should not be in customer service. Terrible attitude
