Yesterday afternoon i stopped at Food Lovers to purchase some groceries etc. I had a very niggly, hungry 4 year old with me. I proceeded to the the till but was met with a queue which snaked all through the store and back to the veggies section. 20 Minutes wait. The teller rang up the items - and then informed me that i would have to wait some more since the credit card machine was down. So in the midst of chaos - a dozen tellers are taking turns to hold up the single credit card machine in attempt to get some signal and put through the purchases. I politely requested to speak to the manager - to which the teller replied " i dont know where he is - hes around somewhere". Eventually, after another 10 minutes and a shouting 4 year old - the manager ambles over and with serious attitude says " what's the problem". I relay that perhaps a heads up at the beginning of the queue re the credit card issue would be wise - to which he rudely replies - we're dealing with it. I reply "it doesnt look like it". His response - "yeah well - whatever" - turns his back and walks away. No apologies, no polite explanations - just plain rude. I understand techno difficulty - i dont grasp RUDE
