Useless product

I purchased a Kambrook Kettle from Clicks in December 2012. The lid broke. I cannot use the kettle now cause it wont switch off automatically cause the lid is broken. On the box it states its an exchange guarantee within 12 months of purchase. I took it to City View Shopping Center in Durban and they tell me its only the mechanical part of it is guaranteed. So now I am stuck with a kettle that lasted for 6months. I called the helpline and they told me their regional manager was going to contact me but I am still waiting. I will never purchase Kambrook again, its a and useless product that breaks easily.
