N Monday 7th Jan 2013 contacted Beds for Africa in Boksburg and spoke to Attie, I explained to him that we purchased a memory foam mattress on the 9th Feb 2011. I reported that my re-enforced base is broken and it is still under their guarantee and would like someone to come out and look at. He said that the factory is only open for business on the 14th Jan. I accepted and called him back on the 15th Jan. Attie said that he has forwarded the claim (with a copy of payment receipts) to the factory and I can expect a call for an assessor to come out during the course of the week. On Friday the 18th Jan, I called again to obtain when will the assessor come out, I spoke to John whom told me that the lady from the factory will call before close of business on Friday to make an appointment. Today is Monday 21st Jan. No one has been in contact with me. As I said it is a memory foam mattress and I am afraid because of the broken base the matters could also get damaged (sagging or indenting). If this is the after sales service one can expect from Beds for Africa, I would not have bought such an expensive bed from them. I guess one should stick to what you know.
