Bad attitude and horrible customer service

The Spar on the corner of Flowers and Steve Biko in Capital Park is a shop from the dark ages.
On Friday, 21 June, I went to buy a quick lunch. I chanced buying a pie because there was a much shorter queue than the previous day. This is when I encountered the unacceptable effects of clumsy shop layout, bad, inept service, cowed workers and indifferent, rude management.
I stood in a queue of 4 people for about 10 minutes. I asked for any pie (they were unlabeled.) By now I was looking for the owner of the Spar and loudly asked a likely guy behind another counter if he was the boss. I told him that the service was very bad. His reaction? He is not the boss. He then ignored me. I waited a few minutes, but no pie appeared. I then left to pay for milk at a till further into the shop. I loudly asked another guy if he was the boss. No. (From various remarks I overheard, I know that the boss was in his office, should have heard my voice and that he pays no heed to any issues.)
Upon leaving I told the first guy that I will report this to the Spar franchise holders and on the internet. I was interrupted with a grin, a "goodbye" and a wave to leave. I left.
